Quilter, author, editor, and historian.
Donna is a native Nebraskan who made her first quilt at age 5. Many quilts later, her passion for quilts and quilting turned into a career as editor and author for Kansas City Star Quilts.
An avid quilt collector and student of quilt and textile history, Donna especially enjoys quilts from the 1920s and 1930s. She is the author of Anna’s Quilt (2012), Prized Quilts (2013), and Stitches in Rhyme (2014).
Donna is a member of the American Quilt Study Group, American Quilters Society, and Starlight Quilters Guild of Overland Park, Kansas. She is proud to serve on the Board of Directors of the Friends of the International Quilt Study Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.
